A Tradition of Excellence
g
The Brookwood High School Track and Field program is part of the school’s larger Tradition of Excellence, which includes a history of high-level performance dating back to the program’s origination in 1982. The program has won a combined 7 State Championships (5 for the girls; 2 for the boys), 34 Region Championships, 38 County Championships, and multiple individual state champions.
We take pride in having one of the largest track and field teams in the state, if not the country, with more than 350 athletes on the team for the 2019 season. In a highly competitive county, our girls have won 9 straight Region Championships and both, the girls and the boys, have each won the prestigious Gwinnett County Championships 5 times in the last 10 seasons. Our program strives to provide an athletic foundation coupled with academic success and, as a result, has sent numerous athletes on to compete at the collegiate level in track and field.
The tradition continues...
